The kids spent hours running around together in the back yard and basement and the adults loved visiting, sharing stories and playing games. 

I instantly thought of doing a group kids/grandkids pictures as soon as everyone left, which was frustrating but we still all had a really fun time making memories together. Grandpa brought large model ships his dad had made and gave one to each family. Scotty still likes looking at Grandpa's ship and talking about the visit.
