Thanksgiving 2018

Friday, November 30, 2018

We went to St. George for Thanksgiving with my family and some extended family on my mom's side. We rented a condo with my parents and had such a fun time. Well, overall we had a good time. Russell was getting a bunch of teeth and so he and I hung out at the house a lot. But it was still awesome!

My mom scheduled family pictures with the same photographer who did David and my's wedding pictures actually. She wanted group pictures before Gage left on his mission.

Russell's reaction to teething and pictures was to be completely expressionless. No crying, no smiling. Just a bald bowling ball baby.

And these pictures of Scotty and David KILL ME. Should I start her wedding slideshow now or...?

My parents were a little late getting to the location and Scotty ran a surprisingly far distance to them when she finally spotted them.

The kids were over it by the group shots at the end so we bribed them with leaves. It worked pretty well.

Basically she's an angel.

Condo highlights include playing games, Scotty's bunk bed and food- ha!

She wasn't into the pie so David made her a plate of whipped cream instead. Classic.

One of the best parts was going to a gorgeous park and disc golfing as a family. It had a park the kids hung out at with Grandma and an uncle and the weather was perfect. We started to wish we could move to St. George!

Here's Russell flirting with himself and using Scotty's toothbrush to soothe his gums.

We were so close to Zions a group drove down and did a couple hikes. Scotty had daddy sherpa service and loved it!

Seriously, she's 2... it's not too early for a wedding slideshow right?

I'm not saying she's spoiled but she is pretty well loved :)

And luckily for Scotty her Kronk carried her long enough she was even able to sneak in a nap on the go. St. George + Zions for Thanksgiving was a hit and we'll probably do it again another year!
